Common App: Deleting Teacher Recommendations

Hi everyone, so one of of the three teachers I have asked to complete recs just completed writing her recommendation for me and submitted it to all fourteen schools that I have selected in the common app instead of only the ones I told her to send it to. A few of those schools only allow one or two teacher recs, and I would rather have the recs from the other teachers be sent to those schools as I think they will be superior. Is there any way I can remove her recommendation from certain schools? Are teachers even able to choose the schools they submit their rec to or do they have to send it to all of them?
My school also uses Naviance by the way.

To be frank, I don’t know the inner workings of how naviance works but my son’s college counselor said that she will will probably use 2 LOR for the EA schools and then swap out one of the LORs for a different LOR for the RD schools. I thought for schools that only accept 1 LOR, the school can determine which of the two LOR are sent where but I am not sure.

I looked back at Naviance and noticed that I hadn’t even requested that teacher for the schools in question, and on Naviance there’s no indication that she submitted anything to those schools but yet on Common App it says that her rec was submitted to these schools. I’m really concerned, can someone familiar with Naviance help me?

Can you talk to your GC tomorrow? That is the best plan. Don’t panic. Unless every component of your application is there, no one is probably looking at it yet. And even if the full package is there, it probably isn’t looked at right away anyway.

If I just delete that school from my list, will the teacher rec go away completely? Or has it already been sent to the school? If it hasn’t already been sent to the school then that seems like a pretty easy solution.

Ok so I talked with my GC and she said there was nothing I can do, so now I am stuck with recs going to incorrect colleges. I’m honestly just really upset by this because I did everything I was supposed to, so I don’t know if Naviance had a glitch or what. I don’t know how common of a problem this is but if anyone else has experienced this and knows how to help me please do, the only thing I have left to do is contact someone at Naviance.
