The failure prompt:
I plan to highlight my faults, and how they have caused failure. one fault in particular; perhaps something like being obtuse with showing and expressing emotions, being bad at confrontation and shying away from taking responsibilities for my mistakes, or not being able to defend myself and others?
like how should I present these? Do you think it would be bad to talk about negative situations with a friend, or highschool drama (that is appropriate of course). and also which faults should I stray away from mentioning? faults that, though may be fixed, may turn the college admission officers off?

I was thinking about that prompt too. I dunno, I feel like talking about your bad qualities isn’t the point of the prompt - it’s telling a story about a situation in which you “failed” and what it taught you. http://www.■■■■■■■■■■■■■/2013/06/the-beauty-of-failure-how-to-answer-prompt-2-of-the-common-application.html
