<p>Option #3. Indicate a person who has had a significant influence on you, and describe that influence.</p>

<p>I've heard a range of thoughts and views on this essay... and i'm wondering if its a bad option, especially if its an essay on a parent.</p>

<p>I'm thinking about either #1 or #3. #1 Will basically be about my EC/passion and #3 would include a wide range of things, from who I am, and including my passion. It would give a more holistic view of who I am, but I agree its cliche. Some people go as far as saying don't attempt it.</p>
