<p>So, one of the schools I am applying to asks for an optional, supplemental essay, where you can write about whatever you would like. My common app was about my take on the American Dream after immigrating to the US. I want to write the supplement as a continuation to the claim I made about the American Dream at the very end of my common app essay. Do you think this will be redundant? It will be a completely different essay, but about the same basic topic (The American Dream). </p>
