Common App essay grammar mistake

After submitting my applications to all nine of my Common App schools, I realized that I had a grammatical mistake on my main essay...
Instead of "solving and fixing problems has always appealed to me..." I wrote "solving and fixing problems have always appealed to me..."
I know that this is not the biggest mistake, and I am sure the rest of my application is flawless, but do you guys think schools will care about this mistake (if they recognize it)?

I am not too concerned, but just nervous that the Ivies I am applying to will take the mistake seriously…

Don’t worry at all. I can almost guarantee that an acceptance will not be rendered a rejection because of that error. In fact, I’m not even sure that “have” is wrong: does the fact that the direct object is written only once necessitate the compound-singularity of the noun phrase?

Chilax  :)

yeah it seems a little ambiguous, and I’m sure most schools won’t even notice it. Thanks!
