<p>My topic will be "the story that is so central to identity to their identity that they believe their application would be incomplete without it." </p>

<p>Would a life threatening 4-wheeler crash be a good essay to write about? Telling how before the crash I was a lazy freshman who only did enough to get by, but after the crash I realized that I had been given a second opportunity in life. Also showing how the crash helped me understand that I need to make the most of the opportunities I have been blessed with and how I could use college as a way to seize these opportunities. </p>

<p>This part sounds like you are trying too hard. If you write something that is meaningful, tells the reader about yourself and is more subtle in the “sale” part I think you will be better off.</p>
