Common app essay issues... Help much appreciated!

<p>I'm trying to decide if my Common App essay is acceptable/good for the schools I'm applying to (Stanford, Brown, Bowdoin, Tufts)... I go back and forth between liking it and abhoring it. I'm inclined to scrap the whole thing and just rewrite it. If anyone could take a read (it's short) I would be SO GRATEFUL! (And I'd be happy to look over yours!) Any takers? Please?</p>
