<p>Are the essay prompts the only topics we can write about, there seems to be no choice for choosing a topic on your own...</p>
<p>I think the “significant experience” one is kind of a topic-of-your-choice prompt. Any essay you write about yourself is bound to fit one of the prompts.</p>
<p>Yeah, they did away with that one. But all the topics are pretty broad and you can make almost anything work</p>
<p>The weird thing is, I one of those stupid college letters from a SUNY school, and in their email they mentioned the prompts for this year. They included “topic of your choice” as a 6th option. No other source seems to mention topic of your choice as an option though.</p>
