<p>i was thinking about writing a zen buddhist critique for the common app essay in which i basically say its ridiculous to document experience with words, and then list all the poetic/aesthetic stuff you miss out on with language only. so by negating the common app and language in general, i affirm a bunch of stuff i like to do and value. </p>
<p>just wondering if this is an ok idea to pursue, seeing how my it would impact admissions decisions.</p>
