Common App Essay--Too long, need help editing!

<p>Hey guys, so I just sat down and wrote and wrote until I came up with something I liked... but apparently the essay can't be over 500 words? Mine is 895... and if anyone wants to look over it and let me know what they think and suggest which paragraphs would be best to cut, that'd be great!</p>

<p>Actually, it only says that the essay needs to be "minimum 250 words" on the Common App this year! I'd be happy to take a look at your essay, though, if you want.</p>

<p>well i have 3 essays to write and one of them has to be around 600 and the other 2 around 200, with the 600 one i went to like 900</p>

<p>I wouldn't send in a 900 word essay. My limit is one page size 12 times new roman max. that's like 700 words. 900 words is a good way to **** off ADCOMs</p>
