Common App Essay Topic

<p>Is anyone here choosing the "Own Topic" option for the Common App? The prompts are kinda...uninspiring. I've written an essay already, but it's about myself. I've seen some essays like that before, but does anyone think it's...self-absorbed or something? Please reply!</p>
