I am applying for Duke (Regular Decision) and I was ready to submit both writing supplements, but when I clicked continue, one of the responses (and its box/question) disappeared. I usually am able to return to the essay portion in case I want to edit it. Now, it only shows my first question and response. And I typed both my responses on MS Word, but its says that my response is too long and it's only 135 words (limit 150). It doesn't even have a 'continue' button any more. It won't even show me the word count.
Is anyone else having this issue? Or is this normal and I just haven't read closely enough?
Please Help!!

***I emailed Common App, and they told me to update/try a different browser. But it still doesn't work even after switching to Chrome ( I use firefox).

There are still a lot of issues at CommonApp. My D submitted her last application last week. It took 3 attempts to update the supplement essay. In the first 2 times, it kept showing the old version even after deleted it and uploaded the new version. We also tried different computers and different browsers and even on different day. It finally worked the third time.

Wait until a few days later and try it again. If the problem still persists, switch to another computer. If the deadline is approaching and you still cannot make it right, send an email to Duke about your problem. Duke will probably let you fax or email the supplement knowing how lame commonapp this year is. I am struggling with essay format too. The worse thing is that I sent an essay to my ED school without knowing that the format was messed up. I just found out the mistake yesterday when I downloaded the PDF version of the essay. It was fine when I previewed it but for some reason the final version CommonApp sent over was missing a paragraph break.
