how much does princeton care about going over the 250-500 word limit? mine is 603 words.

Well just print preview it, and if it doesn't get truncated, then I'm sure it will be fine.

Just make sure you need every word.

I had approximately 600 words and was accepted. Don't worry too much, many people cut down and thus reduce the quality of their work.

my essay was about 1000 word long and was accepted. no worries dude. but make sure you have an interesting story that cannot be told in 500 words.

oh wow! where you exaggerating albert?

Mine was about 690 and I was accepted.

i'm not exaggerating. In the additional information section, i told the ad coms that my essay had exceeded the 500 word limit and I said that I hoped they would look upon it kindly. so if you've got something interesting to say, dun worry too much aabout the word limit.

Mine were 800 and 900 and I was accepted. When I was writing them I was nervous about the length so I called and an admission officer told me not to worry at ALL because they don't sit there counting words. He also said that what you're saying is far more important than adhering to a strict word limit. At the same time, they are looking at your ability to write so if it is rambly then cut it. However, if you think all of the content is necessary, then leave it long....the length will not hurt your chances.

I submitted mine on paper btw
