<p>Is your goal to get an A from your teacher or to favorably impress the adcoms at Brown? My son turned in his essay that he had already submitted and his teacher gave him a B because she thought it was “too risky” and “not positive enough.” She was clearly wrong since it got him into Brown and 3 other top-20 colleges.</p>
<p>My guess is that if you do write something to your teacher’s taste, it’ll sound exactly like 20,000 others and not be the least memorable to the adcoms.</p>
<p>If you still need somebody to look it over, I would be happy too. I just got out of the admissions cycle, so essays are still fresh in my mind ;)</p>
