Common App Essay

<p>Okay, I did a search through pages of threads and couldn't really find a definitive answer on this. How can one use the common app "why transfer" essay to their best advantage? It seems so redundant since most schools have their own version on a supplement. The essay obviously has to be generic since it's going to every school I apply to ... I'm not sure how I can make it sound different than anyone else's prepackaged, one-size-fits-all-colleges transfer essay. So how have y'all approached it? Creatively? Just the facts? Did it seem as boring to you as it does to me? Help! Thanks in advance.</p>
