common app FAMILY check mark problem

<p>for northwestern university only, I am having problems filling out the question of whether relatives attended the college. First, the answer is two cousins attended, but only grandmother or grandfather were options . SO - ok, cousins do not apply here. But when I try to say 'no relatives', the common app does not produce a green check mark in FAMILY tab of the QUESTIONS section.</p>

<p>w/o a clean checkmark I cannot complete the common app.</p>

<p>btw, this only occurs with the Northwestern University.</p>

<p>You may to answer all three questions on the screen , no siblings, no relatives, none listed on Common App…cannot check for sure because app already submitted</p>

<p>I have the same exact problem! My cousin currently goes to Northwestern, so after I realized the only acceptable relatives were grandparents, I went back to the “no” option. Now my check mark won’t show up–how are we supposed to apply? :(</p>
