Class of 2013!</p>
<p>Anyways, in order for me to waive my fees for sending the Common App (I am applying via Single-Choice Early Action to a university), what are the things that I need to do? I know that I need to email the dean of admissions from the university, but what else do I need to do? </p>
<p>Also, when I send my SAT and ACT scores, can I get the fees for that waived as well? </p>

<p>If you select NACAC Fee Waiver, there is a form on the Common App: </p>
<p>You must currently be an 11th or 12th grade student
You must meet at least one of the following indicators of economic need</p>
<pre><code>Student has received or is eligible to receive an ACT or SAT testing fee waiver.
Student is enrolled in or eligible to participate in the Federal Free or Reduced Price Lunch program (FRPL).
Student’s annual family income falls within the Income Eligibility Guidelines set by the USDA Food and Nutrition Service.
Student is enrolled in a federal, state or local program that aids students from low-income families (e.g., TRIO programs such as Upward Bound).
Student’s family receives public assistance.
Student lives in federally subsidized public housing, a foster home or is homeless.
Student is a ward of the state or an orphan.
Other request from high school principal, high school counselor, financial aid officer, or community leader.

<p>College Board also has one:
If you used College Board fee waivers for the SAT Reasoning Test or SAT Subject Test and plan to enter college in Fall 2013, you are eligible to receive up to four Request for Waiver of College Application Fee forms from your counselor. These forms notify participating colleges that you have participated in the SAT Program Fee-Waiver Service and request that they consider waiving their application fees. You must complete and mail the form to the institution in order to apply for this fee waiver. Note: Participating institutions are not obligated to waive their application fee for every fee-waiver user who applies. Please speak to the admissions staff at the institution before submitting your College Board fee waiver application. </p>

<p>Some schools offer their own fee waiver form.</p>
<p>Basically, they all let you know what you have to do and how to qualify.
