Common App Fee waiver

I am a transfer student filling out my common application in order to transfer in Fall 2014. I checked the box on the app saying that I may qualify for a fee waiver. What do I do now? Do I need to get my counselor to sign off on it? I didn't receive any further instruction, and I have scoured the web with no definitive answers.

You might need to call the particular school where you are applying and ask. Procedures vary by school but, generally, a counselor needs to submit a form. Some schools only waive fees for students who also have a testing fee waiver. The procedure for college app waivers for those who have SAT fee waivers is here: [College Application Fee Waivers](College Application – Counselors | College Board)

Email or call the school. I emailed SFASU for a fee waiver and they had me print and fill out a waiver form. I applied on apply Texas and checked the fee waiver box. Once it was processed I has to put the ID# on the waiver app. So you may have to just do that. Contact the school about the fee waiver, fill out and send in any forms
