<p>So as most of you probaly know, one of the common app essay question asks you to write a brief description of one of your extracurricular activities or work experience.</p>
<p>I plan on writing about my work experience, but was wondering how should it look like? Should it stricly describe where I work and what I do, or can I venture into the impact it had on my life, and what I've learned and such..</p>
<p>If someone can pm me their essay to show an example of the format that would be awesome. And i'll even edit if necessary.</p>
<p>What you have in mind is fine. I don't have my complete work experience one that I submitted last December due to a spaztic moment where I deleted half of it by mistake. And I probably wouldn't post it on CC (even via PM) too willingly if I did. </p>
<p>I'd suggest (don't need to use all of this!): going into your line of work. The details of your actions; your job; what you like about it. What did it spark? How did you get the job? Why are you working? What have you learned.</p>
