Since the school forms cannot be done online becoz most of the teachers do not have school emails....How can someone from India submit the form online.Please advise.Is it advisable to print the whole form and submit along with enveloped transcripts and recommendation letters?</p>
<p>Also, can the teacher give his/her own recommendation letters or the School forms from the common application have to be filled.If the school forms are filles-Do these need to be in an enveloped with school stamp?</p>
<p>You can create an account on commonapp to submit your application. However, the school documents - LORs, transcripts etc. will need to be couriered to the college. Yes, the LORs, transcripts have to be in a sealed envelope given to you by the counselor.</p>
<p>Each school has an agreement with the common app regarding how they will send their documents to the respective colleges. In case your school doesnt send lots of students to the US each year, its very likely that they havent signed any agreement with the common app - ie you would need to courier the transcripts. The counselor will not be able to upload them.
Its not about the size limit of the file.</p>
<p>It doesn’t matter whether your teachers have school e-mail or not. They just have to have an e-mail address. I know because one of my recommenders didn’t like using his school e-mail at all. In the US, colleges trust you to do the right thing and play by the rules. There aren’t many rules covering this sort of thing–and whatever rules there are vary from college to college. So take it up with each of the colleges you will be applying to.</p>
<p>I can tell you for sure that the school has no agreement in our case and we were able to upload the transcripts for all schools into Commonapp school forms section. The school principal/guidance counsellor did this. In addition, RPI specifically requested for official transcripts to be mailed.</p>
