Common App/General WashU ?'s

Hey guys, I'm just finishing up my early decision application for WashU and I have a couple questions:

1) For the school report, the common app website says my counselor finished their portion but while looking at the PDF file I noticed there was a place for me to fill it out? I was wondering how this is sent in?

2) For the early decision statement, I signed it, my mom signed it, and my counselor signed it. Those are all the people that I need, correct?

3) Over spring break this past year I visited WashU and fell in love, I also had what seemed like a fairly successful interview. I was just wondering, how do they know that I visited and interviewed? I just want to make sure that that information is looked at because I know how much they value interest.

Have no idea on 1 & 2 (because I applied RD eons ago).

3) TPTB keep track of that information like the creepers that they are (I kid, I kid). You already have a file open that mentions when you visited & details on what your interviewer thought. They collect that kind of info from everyone - when I lived in the dorms I was a pre-frosh host and I was expected to fill out a sheet evaluating what I thought of the young’ins.

Don’t let that freak you out though - it’s info that can only really help you. I actually know someone who said “don’t admit this kid” or something to that extent & the kid still got in (and chose to attend). Note- I only know what was written because I was friends with the overnight host.

1) I don’t remember. I would ask the WashU AdCom you have been assigned to.
2) Yes. You have all the signatures required. I did apply ED last year.

1 & 2: Log into your WUSTL portal. If you’ve submitted everything, you’ll see a message confirming that your application is complete when you click on “Inbox” or “Apply for Admission.” If you see that message and you checked “ED” on the Common App, then you have nothing to worry about.
