I am applying to colleges through Common App but my school unfortunately do not weigh the classes for us. I am not sure how each individual colleges weigh… For example, Precalc honor is weighted in UC system, but is that true for all colleges? Also, do all the AP classes count as 5 pts for A? Are all the honor classes weighted? Please help! Thank you!
Don’t weight your own GPA using some online calculator. And DEFINITELY do not do it to try and make your GPA seem higher than it actually is. Submit the GPA that is reported officially on your transcript, and the school will handle any recalculations from there. Reporting a GPA that is different from the one shown on your transcript can compromise your application.
@BabylonBabylon I definitely will not try to fake my score but do colleges expect you to weight your own scores?
@roonaz No, colleges do not want you to weight your own GPA. Report whatever is on the transcript. They can take your grades and recalculate from there, if needed.
