<p>i have an essay (1 page long) about my main ec and i was wondering if i could/should put it in the additional info section of the common app. are we allowed to include an extra essay here or should i stick to something shorter like a brief description of ec's or whatever? please help!!</p>
<p>Just be brief and concise. The less you say, the less likely it is for an admissions committee member to misinterpret you, and the more likely you are to get in.</p>

<p>I don't think I put anything in there.</p>
<p>I put information I couldn't fit in the rest of the application, like a couple extra summer programs and clarifications about a few activities and awards. In retrospect, though, the clarifications weren't necessary.</p>
