<p>Hi!</p>

<p>I decided to post this here, since you guys always seem to know everything. I was part of the SEAP internship program last summer, and when I saw that the schools I'm applying to via the Common App (Caltech, Stanford, Harvey Mudd, and Santa Clara) allow additional recommendations from people who were not your teachers (such as employers, etc.), I decided to ask my mentor from last summer for a recommendation.</p>

<p>The problem is, I don't know where he's supposed to send it.</p>

<p>Does anyone know?</p>

<p>First step is to invite the recommender to send your rec. to your Common App. When you’re on the ‘School Forms’ page, you should see on the Recommenders box, “Invite Official”.</p>

<p>Same way how’d you invite a teacher or counselour, is how you would invite an employer, etc.</p>

<p>Or, if your recommender wishes, they can submit your rec. on paper. Just download the needed forms, by:

  1. Click on main page for the Common App.
  2. Click ‘Download Forms’ on the links bar at the top
  3. Click ‘Teacher Evaluation’ (PDF/Word)
  4. Print and get that recommendation!</p>
