On the 2015/16 common application, where should I put national honor societies? I am part of Spanish Honor Society and Art Honor Society. Should I just put “member” under the education honors section? Or should I list them under activities?
I am an identical triplet, so under the family section, should I say that my sisters have completed “some high school”? Or do I act like 12th grade is over?

How much of your time does being “a member” require?
For my French Honor Society, we did absolutely nothing besides achieving a certain grade. I put FHS as an education honor, but put regular NHS under activities because I did a lot of volunteering and events in correlation with it. It depends on whether or not you actually do activities for them.
I would put “some high school.” I don’t think it’s crucial to your application either way.
On the right hand side when you’re doing your app, there’s a vertical bar with little help notes and the very bottom one states that National Honor Society is considered an honor and it should be placed under school-wide, but you can also list it under activities if you put in effort and accomplished something or gained recognition while in it. I believe the same situation goes for Spanish Honor Society and Art Honor Society because those are for only specifically selected students. I’m in the same boat as you
