Common App ID # -- on EVERY form submitted

<p>From Stanford supplement:
"Forms: Always download all school forms (such as the Secondary School Report and Teacher Evaluations) directly from the Common Application website after you log in to your Common Application account so that your Common Application ID number appears on each form you download. Your Common Application ID number must appear on every document you submit to Stanford. [bolded for emphasis]"</p>

<p>I printed off my guidance counselor form from the Common App site without logging in. I.e. I had to fill it out by pen rather than having my schedule typed onto it, and more importantly, my Common App ID number is not on the form. It's a generic form. To top it off, my counselor sent in the form about a week ago, but Stanford hasn't downloaded my application yet (because I just paid the fee in the past few days), so I probably don't have a file started yet. </p>

<p>Is my GC form going to get trashed? I don't think I can get ahold of anyone at the school now, with the semester over and school closed.</p>

<p>If you haven’t sent in your application or anything at all, you might be in a bit of a pickle. I turned in my school forms after submitting the common app, but I didn’t put my ID on it, and I still got in. I would suggest resending these forms in the next couple of weeks if they do not show up when you are tracking your app. Good luck! All the best(:</p>
