Common app is going to ruin me

Hello all, I'm not sure if I'm the only one having this problem but I asked my teachers to do a letter of recommendation for me however they both said they haven't gotten the second email providing them with a password to access the site.
Now the due date was a couple weeks ago for most of my schools so no my only option is to have them type it up and I'll send it in by mail. I'm worried that it's too late and I'm also not sure if each school has a specific form for their rec letters or will a simple school letterhead suffice? The schools im applying to are Duke, JHU, CMU, Cornell, & Yale
If anyone has answers I will greatly appreciate it, and im interested to see if anyone has experienced this nightmare as well.

Call or email the school’s admissions offices and explain the issue to them. If they do allow you to send in your recs by mail, you’ll likely need to supply the teacher with an envelope which he or she can close and endorse across the seal.

I would not worry about this too much… I have applied to Duke, Cornell, and Yale, along with three other Ivies. On more than website (can’t remember which schools, but Duke definitely), they say they are willing to work with you on supplemental materials provided your CommonApp was submitted by the deadline… if you missed that, I would be very concerned, but I accidentally did not send my supplemental materials to Columbia, and I didn’t find out until January 10th. I immediately emailed the admissions officer in my area and explained the whole situation… she was very understanding, accepted the material, and I already have an Alumni interview next week! So overall, I would not stress too much. Officers do understand the unbelievable amount of crap applicants go through to try and submit everything and are usually very understanding. Personally, I would email your officers for each school and explain everything… especially when it’s a technology-related issue or something you were not directly responsible for, the officers seem more lenient.
Best of Luck.
