Common app is whacky

Ok, so on the common app it says that Yale, Brown and Stanford don't require supplements even though I know for a fact that they do. I keep on trying to find a way to access their supplementary material but it won't let me and it keeps telling me they don't exist. This problem isn't just for these three schools though, it's doing it for all the schools I have listed.

Additionally, the activities section is really bothersome. It lists categories of activities that doesn't let me say exactly what it is I'm involved in. For example, I'm in the German Club at my school, but I see no place for me to put that, all it has as an option is "foreign language." I also play viola in a string ensemble, but the only option I see listed is "musical instrument" but there is no room for me to list what instrument I play or in what situation(s) I play it (large orchestra vs. ensemble, etc). There is an "additional information" section, but it seems odd putting it all down there.

Help please. I already used the help options on the common app site and they were useless.

theres another thread about this. colleges dont post their supplements til later in the summer

Do you know when in the summer they post their supplements?

Can anyone help with my second question?

Thanks

I would also like to know the answer to the activities question.

Yea, me too. But I think you're supossed to put it in the details section, since I can't actually write any details besides with the activity is (like, I just put "Violin" because anything longer that would make sense wouldn't fit).

So if I select community service, I would just put the words "Key Club International" in the details?

bump (10 char)
