i apologize in advance, knowing that this question is probably incredibly stupid, but i'm a high school senior from canada, who's applying to yale. i talked to my school guidance counsellors, searched online and could not figure out whether or not i should list my SAT scores on the common application for yale, since they do not allow self-submitted scores. if that is the case, should i just leave that section blank? or fill it in anyway? thanks to anyone who can help!

You must fill it in with ALL your SAT and SAT Subject Test Scores (unless you submit only your ACT, in which case you don’t need to). Yale does not allow score choice, so you must report for all test dates. By “self-submitted” scores, Yale means that they want the official score report in addition to your reporting and the scores on your transcript because they want to see the official results. So, in other words, definitely report your SAT scores (all of them) on the Yale Common App.

^um, are you sure? Please tell me you’re kidding? Because I thought they just wanted all the scores on the official score report, so I only reported two of my SAT subject tests, as in saying " these two are the ones I’m chosing out of all the scores."

^No, sorry. As long as you submit all your scores on your score report, that should be okay. Just don’t use score choice. Sorry. :

Thanks so much for your help! :)
