Common App mishap!

I was finalizing my common app to send into Stanford (EA), and, after I submitted it, I found a mistake. I had been modifying a few little things on my resume and, as far as I can tell, I accidentally deleted my personal essay and uploaded my resume in its place the last time I re-uploaded it (I made sure the resume was right by clicking 'view document,' but I forgot to re-print preview my app). I found the mistake right away and emailed and faxed Stanford my personal essay with a cover letter explaining what happened. I know this is entirely my fault, but I wanted to know if anyone has ever done something like this and how it turned out, since this is my first choice school and I'd like to know how much or if this is going to affect their consideration of my application. Thanks!

All I can say is, “Ouch.”

What a bummer. I am sure that it won’t make a huge difference - how could it? A simple mistake. Go have some ice cream, relax, and forget about it. If that is the worst that happens, you have done well.
