I hope that someone can help me because I am a little bit confused as to how the common app works. Certain schools on there want official transcripts and certain ones want me to send them after I intend to go to the college. At the beginning of this school year I want to my registrar and filled out an application to apply the official transcripts to my Common App. I don't know where I can find if it was sent, but certain school apps like USC were submitted.

Is the official transcript lumped together with the school report that my counselor did last month?

Yep. The School Report section has a sub-section called “Transcripts.” The scanned copies of transcripts are uploaded here(as PDF, or whatever the document format is.) So, under “Assign Recommender” of a college, if “School Report” has “submitted” next to it, it means the transcripts and evaluation form have also been submitted.

Hope this helped.

PS: I don’t know about USC. I’m facing some problems with their application.

Thank you for explaining it for me. Yeah the USC application is weird I filled it all out and submitted it but it just says make sure you send in your ACT scores and official transcripts after you submit the application. Of course I am having problems sending ACT reports but that is a different story. If you are trying to get into USC before the merit deadline it just says that the USC writing supplement and Common app need to be submitted for qualification.

Yeah. I mailed an admission counselor. She said only the application and writing supplement need to be submitted before deadline. She said transcripts and sat scores (ACT in your case) can be sent shortly after.
