I've heard if a school goes both ways, as it were, it's best to use their app and forego the Common app.

Anyone have an opinion?

It would certainly be easier to use the Common App.

TIA.

this question has been discussed forever, and all the issues have been exhausted....just search the threads.

I used commonapp.....I like the prompt, but the formatting for essays is horrible. I spent more time trying to indent one of my essays than I did writing it.

Also, commonapp supplement doesn't let you write over 400 words for the two short essays (250 ones) Where as Princeton one lets you type in a lot more.

Teacher rec forms on commonapp has more checkboxes, and secondar report on priceton app has more checkboxes....

it makes no difference whatsoever. its a personal choice.

Got it.

I'll A/B the two and go from there.
