so i applied to two schools using the common app and both were the march 1st deadline. i thought that for the personal why you want to transfer essay you could use different essays tailored to each school, but found out it has to be the same for all schools your applying to at the last minute. so panicking i changed it to be more general why i want to transfer instead customizing for each school. why is it that it has to be the same? what if you wanted to modify if for each school your applying to? and is there any way to edit after you submit? how did others go about this?

omg i’m panicking, anyone?

It is called the common application for a reason. However, I believe you can make changes prior to submission. Obviously you didn’t do that. I suggest telephoning Admissions to inquire about your updated essay question. Write it up, email it, do whatever it takes to be resourceful if you feel that strongly. Your persistence may be just the trigger to a ‘welcome to our school’ letter.

quick dude I did the same thing dont worry there is hope
click this link and log in it allows you to replicate app and send in a different copy to another college, only after you submit first application.
