So I applied to Michigan and Chicago early with Common App. I just looked today, and even after I checked over a million times before submission, I still made a mistake. When I submitted the Personal Statement, I checked the wrong box for the prompt I wanted. So, it says I did a prompt about a person that inspired me and the essay is about national importance...I all ready left a msg. at Chicago Admissions Office and I am going to call Michigan. Is this really a big deal though?

It is definitely not a big deal. Other posters on CC have made the same mistake this year. Don’t worry about it.
