I am having issues with the Common App taking my credit card payment-it just keeps showing an error message or timing out. Anyone know how to fix that? If it can’t be fixed can I pay the colleges directly for their app fee and then still have the common app go through somehow?

Try a different credit card. Then try logging onto your account on a different computer somewhere else and see if goes through. You need to pay with a credit card if you apply on-line.
