Common App Q involving ED

<p>We have a few on the short list now and are working on those applications to have them to send at a moment's notice.</p>

<p>Son noticed that when he tried to change one college's app from RD to ED, the CA had a pop up warning that said one could only ED to one school. Does this mean that son needs to keep all the schools at RD until we really are ready to send the one ED app, and then delete all the other applications before doing so?</p>

<p>Is this a frontgate situation where common app itself prevents kids from applying ED to more than one school?</p>

<p>Also, does it mean you need to basically back up any supplemental information you provided for other colleges because CA will delete them? Or can they be resurrected for ED2 or RD if you need them?</p>

<p>Why would they get deleted? Just mark them all as RD until you make a decision - then change that one to ED.</p>

<p>You can apply to as many other schools as you want when you’re submitting an ED app - the only restriction is that you can only submit one ED (or single choice early action).</p>
