Common App Q

I took a community college course junior year and got a bad grade in it...do I have to report it?

Ethically, yes. The applications ask you to report any outside courses. If you are admitted and haven't mentioned this course and the college later finds out, they could kick you out.

I'm not quite sure what you mean by "a bad grade." On CC, many would think of a B this way! Your willingness to challenge yourself academically could be seen as a positive outweighing any less than optimum grade. You could also address what you learned from this experience in an essay or during an interview.

Not ethically yes only. if you have any sense, yes

Seriously, its a matter of a quick check.. be honest about it, twill be fine

If you have courses you're reporting that you got good grades in at the same college, than either don't report any of them or all of them. They'll probably request a transcript if you state you've attended a college, but if you don't mention it, it'll be impossible to find. It is not a "quick check." There are thousands of colleges out there and the college you're applying to is certainly not going to check every one.
