Common App Question

I am currently working on my common application online and it says if you run out of room for the EC area to put any additional activities in the additional information section. Should I do this or is there any way to attach an activities sheet? Thanks in advance.

Well, that's what the additional information section is for so it seems, so unless it's full already or you used it for some other purpose, you don't seem to really need another activities sheet.

bump......

bump........

If you're submitting the Common App on line, there's no way to add an attachment. Put the info, as directed, in the "Additional Information" section. If you're sending it in paper by snail mail, add whatever you want to the packet.

THanks (10 char)

It seems that there are about 60 lines available for the "additional information". That should be enough for most people's activities that don't fit in the regular extracurriculars section, I would think.

When my son printed out the info he typed into the "additional info" box, only the info that was visible in the box came out in print. You have to scroll down to see the rist of the list. Has that been the case for you folks, too? And should he just assume that anything typed in there will be seen when the app is reviewed? He's afraid that if the adcoms print out the list, they will only end up with the first dozen lines of info.

Here's a really dumb question. How do you start a new thread on this forum?
