<p>Most of the schools that I am applying to have sites on their web pages that assign you a username and you choose a password and you can check the status of your application. The other schools wrote to me with a status. All of the documents that I didn't do thru the Common Application I sent certified mail so I could get the return receipt back to show receipt. I also have emailed one of the schools to check on a document and they wrote back the following day.</p>
<p>what about the parts you submitted online using the common app? you wouldn't have a password with the school going directly through the common app would you?</p>
