For the transfer Common App it basically asks the same question Cornell asks in the supplement, how do I differentiate them? I mean one is a personal statement but it also asks why are you trasnfering and what this school school will present to you. Cornell asks why you want to attend Cornell and career goals. That's almost the same, any idea please?

Those two questions are actually very different. One asks why your current school is not a good match for you, and the other asks why Cornell in particular DOES suit you and your career goals.

isn't this the supplement topic?

It doesn't ask why do you want to attend cornell, just what you would like to study
