Common App Question

Hi, everyone! I'm new to CC, so this might be a stupid question - but when I submit my Common Application - will it just go to Yale, or to every other school that I apply? Is there any way to change the Common App once I send it in early to Yale, or is it a done deal?

Thank you in advance for taking the time out to answer!

sighing patiently

Yes, the answers to your questions are on cc somewhere, but I'll take pity on you because you are new and I like your name.....

When you submit, if you are applying to Yale SCEA, it will only submit to Yale, because it knows that you can't apply anywhere else at the same time.

And, yes, you can change the application by creating an alternate:

You can make an alternate at the following link:

You are so welcome!

a minor clarification - you can submit to other schools, but only RD. You can't do an ED or EA app to any other school.

Thanks Ailey. I jumped to the conclusion that poster was trying not to submit other earlies. Easiest way to rest assured that no other colleges receive anything today is to remove them from your list of colleges, then add them back after you send. All supplements will have any information you've entered preserved. The apps are hidden, not deleted.
Good luck darwinlove.
