I’m sure this is a dumb question, but just to be safe: On some of my extracurricular sections, I can’t fit all of my offices/awards in the tiny text box, should I just write “See additional info” and put the information there?
also, does the “Additional Information” section have to be in an essay format, or can i list points that I would like to make? (not points like a resume, but points like…a note about extracurriculars, then a note about a program, etc.)

I would make an effort to fit everything into the given space. Cut it down to your top achievements- your college will not care for anything more than that and resumes are not recommended. If you need to, type it up. If there is not enough room to describe all your accomplishments for one particular activies, that is what the short answer section is for and should be written as a paragraph.

What "additional information" section do people keep talking about. I saw none on last year's application, nor this year's...? Best of luck,

thank you, that was very helpful.

and the additional information is the last section before the verification on page 3 of the online application, and it is for miscellaneous things from throughout the entire app. for example, if you have taken any college classes, although they want you to list the college under a special section of the app just for that, they want you to list the courses taken/grades received in the additional information section (it states that in the directions.)

here are the directions for the section:
"If you have any additional information that was not specifically requested or did not fit in the space provided, feel free to include it here."

and just to make my second question more noticeable ill repost it:
Does the "Additional Information" section have to be in an essay format, or can i list points that I would like to make? (not points like a resume, but points like...a note about extracurriculars, then a note about a program, etc.)

Thank you!

Also: How about the academic honors section? is that supposed to be paragraph or read like a list? im not sure how i could put things such as NMS or ___ book award in essay form without just listing them anyway.

You can put anything you want in the Additional Information section. You could label it "endnotes" or something and just jot down a few things.

For academic honors, I would list them. If anything needs an explanation, squeeze it into parenthesis or put it in the Additional Information section.

Ohh.... I see, you're talking about the online application. I worked exclusively with the paper application. I finally understand what people talk about when they mention "Additional Information."

Yeah, for academic honors list them. For one honor, I explained it something to the effect of "__________ - recognition as top sophomore for academic excellence and leadership potential, selected by panel of English Honors teachers, counselors, and the principal." I listed a bunch of other honors, too, so I wasn't just doing it to kill space. I just happen to be blessed with incredibly neat, tiny writing. =) Best of luck,
