<p>Hi! Since I'm probably going to have so many commonapp questions, I'll just keep this generically titled thread and keep posting questions as they pop into my head. heh heh</p>
<p>So for the academic honors/distinction, am I allowed to put photography awards there? Should I put only the state awards or can I include a couple local(library art contest) awards too?</p>

<p>If you have extra room after putting your state awards, then I think you should definitely go for it!</p>

<p>Another question, I play several instruments: piano, alto sax, clarinet, recorder(lol probably NOT going to mention this one) and the bamboo flute(self taught)</p>
<p>I used to be in band in middle school and I used to take piano lessons(stopped at freshman year). But I still learn new pieces on my own and stuff. </p>
<p>Should I mention those on my ECs/activities?</p>
