Ok so I have completed my common app and am going to submit it in a few hours. Problem is I am applying to 5 colleges having the 1st JAN deadline and I want to use the "Other Fee Waiver Request" for 3 of my colleges. I am an international student so I can't get the CollegeBoard fee waivers and my father is having difficulty in paying for all 6 colleges at once. Problem is that my counselor has not yet completed my fee waiver request. If i select Other Fee Waiver Request and submit my common app, when should the colleges receive the fee waiver request letter? And by any chance they reject it, can I still use a credit card to pay the fee?
Thanks.

A little help please… :(

You’ll need to get your fee waiver requests to the colleges pretty soon after the deadline so that they will consider your application package complete. If a college does not grant you a fee waiver they will likely present you with other ways to pay the fee. If the college hasn’t downloaded the record of your fee waiver request from the Common App Online you will be able to remove it and pay instead with a credit card if needed.
