Common App Race Question

So I was taking a look at the common app and I've been putting Black/African-American on all my papers. My mom was born in Jamaica, but my dad was born is India. Would it be weird if I put Black for my demographics, but my father's country of birth as India? Responses would be appreciated! Thank you :)

Is it out yet? Isn’t it just a preview?

Not sure, I was just looking at the downloadable one!

I went on the site and it has a downloadable one but it has the words PREVIEW listed on every page… I don’t think the real one comes out until August.

That’s fine with me lol I just wanted to take a look at it to get a head start and become more familiar with it

Any replies to my question would be appreciated!

Technically you are Black Asian and should split your percentage.
