common app rec forms + NYU App

<p>is this ok?? i was initially planning on applying via the common app but decided to do the nyu specific one instead. I've heard that this is fine but if anyone could provide a concrete answer i'd realy liek to know for sure. </p>

<p>I ask because i just got a n email from NYU admissions telling me that i have yet to complete the nyu supplement on the common app and that i need to finish it yada yada....</p>

<p>so: is it ok if i just send in the online NYU App? </p>

for me, i was going to do the NYU specific one, but changed it to the common app
and my rec. letters are in the NYU only form, but app from common app
my counselor said this is okay
so i'm thinking yours is fine as well</p>
