<p>Has anyone ever heard of the Common App server freezing the night before a deadline (such as ED/EA's november 1st) and preventing people from submitting?</p>
<p>i would guess they would make server large enough to handle the influx of applicants right?</p>
<p>the likelihood of the common app server freezing is not very high at all. But it is very possible to have your own computer get ****ed up at the last minute. Although I haven't heard of any specific circumstances of it actually happening, it's best to just submit it 2-3 days beforehand to make sure there aren't any kinks.</p>
