<p>I was writing my short answer for the common app and the extracurricular I chose was volleyball. My academic skills are solid (GPA: 4.7 out of 4.0 scale ACT: 34) and so I thought it would be important to show my social/sports side too. Is this a good idea or should I write about some academic extracurricular like Scholastic Bowl or Science Olympiad?</p>
