Common App Special Circumstances - incarceration

Theres no place for my fathers incarceration, and I feel that is an important part of my common app. At the same time, I don't want to post it because it makes me seem feeble, some of my flaws come of out my fathers incarceration & I don't want to be looked at like a victim, because I know college admissions hate when people make themselves out to be a victim. Also, I have "okay" ECs but nothing major due to my sisters teen pregnancy, and me having to take care of my nephew almost everyday while she went back to school, night classes + worked. Would it be reasonable to include that in my app? I just don't want to be looked at as trying to make excuses...but its simply the truth.

As for my fathers address... do I put it as the Correctional Facility hes in?

Definitely! There is no shame in discussing any of that. As long as you discuss your situation and its effects on you maturely and eloquently, then it will only help you. Are you low-income? Check out QuestBridge, they even have a special college app designed to help explain complicated situation likes yours.
