I basically just submitted the final part of my transfer app last night using the common app. Today though, it still says the status is "offline". How long does it usually take for it to give me some kind of status?

And are you able to find out if your school has all your docs through the common app? I sent all of them a while ago, but I can't help but think they for some reason won't have all of them. I'm just in a state of distress right now because the deadline is basically here.

Anyone know these? Your help is appreciated!!

You can't find out if the college has received your application through the common app. You have to ask the college directly.

However, if your application has been submitted, the status will change to be "downloaded; with the date you completed it". When I submitted, it became "downloaded" right away. I didn't have to wait.

My SCHOOL FORM STATUS has ALWAYS been offline, though, because I sent those forms via regular mail. Are you sure the "offline" status is your APPLICATION STATUS? Did you send yours via regular mail? Did you pass the deadline?

My application is downloaded, my supplement is submitted. And you're right, that "offline" is for my school forms. I assumed it was for the entire app itself.

I sent the forms through the regular mail several weeks ago. The deadline is May 1st, which is why I'm paranoid all of a sudden. So the only real way to check for those forms is by calling the school itself? ...I feel like they should have a better system, but I guess I'll call the school then.

Some schools have systems where you can check each document online. Some don't. For those, it's fine to call. Some of them won't be able to answer re receipt of documents right away - sometimes they don't really enter things in to their system on a rolling basis, but in batches or after the deadline.

If they can't tell you status now, ask when you should check back.
